Is it possible to add a message (hyperlink) in chat window to the next game room in tourni for supporters?
The winner gets an invite, but the supporters have to find (in time) the next game room.
For the winner:
Tournament invites you to play xxxx v jerry
For the other ppl:
Tournament invites jerry to play xxxx <- hyperlink
Or a 'watch' button in find player screen.
Disadvantage of the watch button is: too late in next game for watching or it shows the already finished game.

if your watching someone they usualy wait for you to go to the game room anyway, so no need for this option

It's a good idea.
I put an idea on my profile page similar to this in that the final is advertised via a hyper link. If you can simply click why the need to keep looking etc when this could be an easier option.
So there might not be a desperate need, but is there really need for cups to drink from if you can use your hands matt...

the idea is good yes, but to add in a java code for all of the forums, for each of the players then to hyperlink, its too much work for something so small to do

Sorry to disagree, but i don't think it's something 'so small'.
On a previous thread somebody mentioned having a hyperlink on a tournament winners announcement (Still no feedback on that one) so players could simply click the name to see their profile. To do this now we have to..
1. Click homepage.
2. Click player.
3. Type name in.
Why should we have to take these steps if a simple link could do the same in a single press, regardless of how difficult it is to code? The same applies to the idea of following somebody in a tournament. If this can be implemented without having to go 'the long way around' it benefits the players on the site, simple!
Although these are not groundbreaking ideas they could realistically make life a lot easier and lets not forget how it's sometimes the minor updates that can make a 'big' difference!

1. if you go that way tha's your on fault, mearly click on his name/ find player, click on the picture ur there already.
and you seem to have no idea how much coding will need to be done for this aswell as snooker, let alone sorting everything out like bugs and other improvements aswell as his own job!

Err Matt, that's still 3 clicks your way...
Also what happens if the person has logged off as soon as the tourny is over? The message will say no such player online and make your process obsolete. You are however correct in that i have no idea how much work is involved with java. I do know adding a simple hyper link to a persons profile page is not difficult by any stretch of the imagination.
I'm sure everybody is famously aware by now how busy Nick is with 3 sites on the go at once, so is there really any need for you to repeat this on 'most' threads an idea pops up on? I'm positive Nick would still welcome any ideas that come his way no matter how busy he might be or how small the idea might seem to somebody such as yourself.
Again, i'm not educated in the world of computer language like yourself, ie knowing specifically how hard Nick will find things and the process involved to implement them, but i will still keep the ideas coming and support any (Like this one) that i feel can benefit the site. The other option would be people like myself and Jerry posting zero ideas just in case the usual 'too busy' or 'too hard' posters (Mostly you coincidently ) jump in before the actual person we were addressing has answered!!
A little off topic Matt, but what computer languages do you know at the present time?
EDIT: Can we put an 'o' in the thread title

currently i am studying nothing, i got an a* in ict for gcse and taught myself all the coding off the net, i was ment to go to uni but due to the lack of intrests in the topic that was going at the present time i declined and went onto college.
I'm not slating the idea, yes its a good one, but i believe it is pointless to add on because the simplest things such as too many hyperlink can start to slow down people's pc and the problem with the lag happens all over again.
(yes i didnt get high in english i never paid much attention)
