All the tournaments have been bumped an hour until the 3am night time marathon 9 ball tournament, which was completely removed.

here's something I thought of though,

I have the tournament results come up in the chat bar so I can keep track of who has gone through or out and as it is now the results display depending on what discipline the individuals are playing, for example.

8ball Pool Tournament: Player a loses to player B with 6 balls remaining.

Would it not be better to say

Random Multi Discipline Tournament: Player A loses to Player B

So that the standard 8 ball tournament results are not confused.

If you can understand what I mean

Can the frame's be increased nick, think it would be more fun for a longer game instead of the 1 frame which for me is a bit short?

is it possible to add straight?

I doubt that as the other rounds are only up to one frame, whereas straight by its nature requires a minimum of 35 balls to be potted (UK and US 8 ball, minimum of 8 balls (or less with foul on black); 9 ball, minimum of 1 ball).

snooker has original and carom

We can have multiple games per match - but within each match there can only be one game type.

Regarding straight pool, funkypool is luckier than snooker in that the game lengths of the main three games are naturally all similar lengths. Straight wouldn't slot into the tournament structure so nicely.

It's just been discovered that the number of overall wins isn't being incremented when someone wins a random tourney.

I asked nick yesterday be4 it started and he said it cant be done like that, at least for now.

Just to add to this it would also be a nice addition to seperate the actual rooms into a 'random' room type (when clicking find game)

I sometimes watch a match when im finished with mine and theres no way to tell a random tourny game from another tourny game (of the same type)

e.g. if i got an 8 us game in the random tourny it blends in with the actual 8 us tourny games going on

Not sure if he said and i didnt ask the reason why just if it would happen, maybe as it was a trial or maybe as he can't, if it can be im all for it.

Currently the overall score is calculated differently from other tables in that a user must have a score in each event to qualify, therefore if I added random tournament it would knock most people of the overall table until they win a random!

If I get round to adding them to the overall all previous wins will be added too.

Will there be more than 1 random tourney a day ?

couldnt you take a few more tornis out of 8 uk and us then we could havwe 3 random tornis a day :)
