What?

Okay so basically I had an idea. It is having a funkypool shop to reward your achievements by customizing your game play. Basically for each achievement you will get a certain amount of cash, there is no real cash just virtual.

Possible achievements:

Any 7 Balling E 20
Any Golden Break E 50
Any Run out E 100
Run of 20+ E 20
Mini Golf 9 score E 100
Speed Tournament Win E 250
Regular Tournament Win E 500
Marathon Tournament Win E 1000
Every Post E 1

Possible Customization:

US Table Light Blue E 2000
US Table Green E 2000
US Table Red E 2000
UK Table Blue E 2000
(This method means making it only one default table, and these tables to be unlocked)
Practice Table Line E 1000
Practice Table Circle E 1000
(This method means only the default practice option, and these to be unlocked)
US Cue ball Black Dots E 1500
US Cue ball Blue Dots E 1500
US Cue ball Pink Dots E 1500
(Only US table games have dots on cue ball)
UK Cue ball Green Triangle E 1500
UK Cue ball Pink Heart E 1500
UK Cue ball Red Circle E 1500
UK Cue ball Blue Circle E1500
(The shape recommended to be in middle, colors/shape can be changed)
Bronze Cue Stick E 10,000
Silver Cue Stick E 25,000
Gold Cue Stick E 50,000

(This is for the pros of the site, this will be a challenge to reach but is possible, Visible to your opponent screen aswell)

Who?

This fair way, the pros on the site get rewarded and also the forum chatters.

When?

Well if this gets into consideration, Nick will put in a future patch

Where?

There could be a tab included onto the home page in between tournaments and forum
Also could be under Quick Links on home page when signed in

Why?

It's an idea to spice up the new decade that we are in :)
Also Nick customized the home page by different colours, why not also customize your gameplay aswell

How?

It may take some time with coding, I know its a lot to code into the site

This is my idea, a new decade why not a new addition to funkypool :)

Note: Things may be changed (Example: Euro amount)
Note: Possible Customization things may be added and removed.
Note: This is a rough idea, this can be expanded
Note: If it gets into consideration, its preferred to reward the achievements after the patch, so its fair for everyone, but may reward past achievements depending on nicks decision

I think the unlockable cues is a good idea

Yes it is, if possible for coding, maybe you can even see what cue your opponent has, etc.

In principal could be used, but considering the amount of work that would be required to initiate it, would be the greatest barrier.

There is also the point of where do you start from, does it take account of previous stats that you currently hold?

Or would it be a clean slate to commence with?

I could see a ot of discussions over this

It's up to nick, to reward past achievements or achievements after this is patched, if it becomes into consideration.

I know coding is hard, this may take a while.
This is my idea, but nick can alter it so less coding and etc.

No one is disputing the fact, that this is your idea!

Well, everything except having to unlock the table colours and practice table arrangements, I don't think they should be on the list, other than that I like the sound of it.

diffrent cue's is a must, cue's need a change, i'd push the boat out wacky and say diffrent colour cue balls to, just to make it strange

You could also change the colour of the object balls instead, instead of red and yellow you could have blue and yellow, just to mix it up a little

Not a bad idea there but alot of work would have to be put in for this one if it were to happen.

Makes this game more of a challenge and in most cases more fun.

tbh i would love it if u actually could buy funky pool cups, the world just wouldnt be the same agen. deffo on the cues though

Rogan I understand, Practice Table should stay for the ones who want to get better in this game and cant afford it at that time.

And Table Colours, It's more of a challenge, but its only colour, maybe how about this: You pick a customise colour i.e pink for 1500 or sumthing, that will make the girls on this site happy

just a thought for yer list of achievements

scoring for combos in 9 ball 1-9 different from 5-9.

or alternately if you can pull off all 8 combos,1-9,2-9,3-9 etc...... gets ya summit.

Hmmmm never though of that.

Well since 9 ball combos occur much often then 7 ballings, maybe the amount should be 10 euros

Sounds like I'm the only one who doesn't like this idea.

Something like this just seems a bit tacky to me, don't see the point in it.

The point is to reward the funkypool community for their great achievements, by allowing them to purchase customizations to make them content. It's as simple as just the bronze,silver,gold cues. It doesnt have to be complex like above, It's just something small to give back to the funkypool community!

Oh I hear alot about people want to have different cues.
Maybe even different table colours i.e pink or black.

Customisable cues and "funky money" as it usually ends up being called have always been popular.

Most other upgrade possibilities mentioned in past threads like this have been incorporated in the recent cosmetic changes, so new cues would fit even better now
