when we start again im playing 8 uk

Sign ups will commence a week before league start date, until then all signs up are invalid.

There will be 3 categories 8ball, 9ball and 8UKball...

Each category will have a maximum of 25 players.

If there is interest I may introduce a new category straight as a 4th option to play, though i will need atleast 12 players to post their interest here.

Note: if you post your interest for straight you are not automatically signed up until you post again when signs up occur.

Results can either be posted here or offline messaged to me and ill update the tables

Why not do the same as snooker and one big tourney all game types played straight knockout?

Because traditionally we've been doing this for many seasons and I would like to keep the tradition going, if u wish to go ahead with your idea make your event in pool events forum

techno i have asked and would like your thoughts re clan singles

there is always so many games not played and players who play loosing points because of this

can we put fixtures together in a weekly or fortnightly format and maybe put 3 or 4 singles fixtures together

this might help games being played and make it a competition that players sign up and actually complete

the amoumt of players who sign up and play 0-4 games is a joke

just my thoughts ,,, what do you and other ppl think

i think fixture format and 3 matches a fortnight would work with just a little help in doing the fixtures,

starting with playing players in your own clan first

I agree, I ran a 8ball league on pool events, and games didn't get played, In future I will schedule matches as its more likely to get played.
I also think 25 players are to much.

25 should be ok as atm were talking 13 clans max of 15 =195 players. Total for individuals 75

Surely 25 for each discipline could be found ...i reckon 8uk will fill fast.

5 extra people wont make much difference, due to increase in clans we had to up the limit.

we are talking nearly 200 players.

its not a bad idea but its sort of tradition to do it this way, been around long as i have.

but anything individual league related goes to techno and i have no control on what techno decides to do

We aim to take maximum 75 players meaning everyone will have to play maximum 24 fixtures in a time period of 3 months or so depending how long the season last, which is only like 8 fixtures a month which isn't much. I'm willing to even start the individual league earlier if time is an issue.
