i am not sure whether this has been brought up before.
well.its very difficult to get a ball in on the break and hold the handball on the middle of the table in this game.it is proven that if u hit a full ball on the 1 ball, the wing ball will enter.its not happening in this game.which is reducing the chances of running out, even running racks.if breaking was easier,i believe this game will be more exciting and fun.

Hi just_do_it,

It's all just practice really to try and find a break that has a high chance of potting something, as the balls rack randomly each game there is no one break that will always pot something. (I think that's right anyway)

I'd recommend just trying breaking from different positions and hitting the one ball in a different place, or using spin.

Forgive me if I sound patronising but that's all I can think of doing.

Not entirely true. In a mathematical model I'm sure that can be the case (no idea haven't bothered googling it), but in either case that is irrelevant. On any real table, including pro tournaments, no two racks are identical. There are always slight differences, slight gaps, slight angular deviations etc etc. In short, there are any number of small but significant factors contributing to your idea of a given break always producing a given result to be simply incorrect.

As far as I know, Nick has coded some of that real-life randomness into this game. Try it yourself - even if you line up100 breaks as identical as you can - using tape on your monitor even, virtually no two breaks will turn out exactly the same result. And that's precisely how it ought to be.

when hitting full on the 1 ball, the wing ball will always go in.its just that the spread of the balls will be different.this is proven.u can see the pros play and u know.
u think it doesnt work cas u are not hitting full on the 1 ball.its because when u break,at the speed u are goin,u will tend to move ur cue to the right or left.therefore,u become inaccurate.
