53 years of hurt, hopefully the Cup will return to Villa Park for the 8th time in our history, Brighton next round.

Unusual for us to get a lower league side in the FA Cup

Hold on, Villa always get easy ties. Look at us, Birmingham we always get drawn away

Last four cup draws we had Southampton, Sunderland, Nottm Forest and Everton.

You lot should be lucky, Brighton at home.

Stoke dont know how to win. The only goals Stoke score are from Delap = Throwing

Manchester United, five times in the last 10 seasons, Blackburn twice, Sheffield United away, Hull City.

They are our third round ties, we have only had ONE team outside the top two flights twice in the last decade. So easy ties for Villa?

You're talking out your Blue Nose.

Aston Villa third round ties:

2000 - Darlington (only because Manchester United went to World Club Championships)
2001 - Newcastle United (Away)
2002 - Manchester United (Home)
2003 - Blackburn Rovers (Home)
2004 - Manchester United (Home)
2005 - Sheffield United (Away) (they also had a goal given when player was about 10 yards offside)
2006 - Hull City (Away)
2007 - Manchester United (Away)
2008 - Manchester United (Home)
2009 - Gillingham (Away) (a rare lower league draw)
2010 - Blackburn Rovers (Home)

Easy draws?

Birmingham City

2000 - Watford (Away)
2001 - Manchester City (Away)
2002 - Liverpool (Away)
2003 - Fulham (Away)
2004 - Blackburn Rovers (Home)
2005 - Leeds United (Home)
2006 - Torquay United (Away)
2007 - Newcastle United (Home)
2008 - Huddersfield Town (Away)
2009 - Wolverhampton Wanderers (Home)
2010 - Nottingham Forest (Away)

5 of the last 6 seasons have been against teams from outside the Premiership.

Hmmm...told!

Post at the top of the page, Liverpool to win it?! Pffft! After knocking out you Reds at Anfield we'll go and take out Coyle-less Burnley, get our season back on track and go and win the FA Cup.

What?! It could happen!

C'mon you Royals!
