im trying to log into the game server but this message comes up
Unable to login. Either you are currently logged into the game, or your browser was unable to log you out (please wait a few minutes).

I then clicked onto my profile and it says am in the chat room but am not, does anybody know what this may be. I have tried restarting my computer but still having the same problem.

its because sometimes when you log out it doesnt log you out properly and puts you as "not responding" in the chat room - after 90seconds it will log you out and then you will be fine

20 minutes of inactivity on the game results in you being logged out.

The game must have froze for you and you was unable to get on it, but it kept you logged into the game until this 20 min was up.

(I think it's 20 min anyway)

Log out and in again
Close all windows and open again
Reboot pc
if none of those work you need admin help :O

Well now it says you're browsing. Browser restart usually does the trick for this.

Funny enough it has happened to me tonight for the first time, last time I was logged in earlier I was inactive for 20 mins and was logged out, has happened plenty of times when afk, come to log in now (2 hours later) and same as the skip above, I even have an old account which I haven't been on for months and the same, rebooted PC and tried different browser's but same, so gotta be an ip address related issue to be same error on 2 accounts (one account as mentioned above I haven't used in months because of using this account)

Just to find out, I created a new account and I can log in fine on that.
Puzzled now!, I knew it wasn't a firewall problem or owt to do with anything my end, must be some sort of glitch on here.

Sometimes a browser might not close your game client (the Java process) and you might remain logged in as indicated. Closing all browsers usually fix this - if not you'll need a complete restart of your machine (server logs out any user after 90 seconds inactivity).

Yeah thought that but I have tried all mentioned above and still can't log in on my account, but set up a new account tonight and all works fine on that but can't log in on this account.

Just cleared my full history & cookies now and still same

I thought it's 90 seconds for responding? If you're sat in the chat room doing nothing, its 20 min then it logs you out isn't it? Because i know it aint 90 seconds...

waited 5 mins logged back in

OK, it sounds like you have an old version of the game cached.

First option is to go to Control panel, Java, Temporary Internet Files, Settings..., Delete Files, ensure both boxes are ticked and click OK. Restart all browsers and try again. Please let me know if you still have a problem.

I will update the error message for this situation in the future.

Nope have tried what you said above nick, but still have the same problem on this account, but the new account I set up last night to see if that would work is fine, just on this one I can't log in with.
