I'm sure all of us have seen the balls going a bit mad after the break and zooming around the table, I wonder is this related to it, or even responsible for it...

iv had it a few times, makes no odds to the balls when they split up, they dont divert off in any different way.
does look weird though

I do have a feeling those two issues are related too - but really too few samples to base any real analysis on - which I very much expect is the problem Nick faces when debugging this too - problems occurring so rarely are very hard to find and fix.

and when rarely happening and not affecting the game is it worth trying to repair

A prudent question indeed. I don't agree that it doesn't affect the game tho - it does whenever it happens, but question remains - when it happens once in a blue moon, do we really care or is Nick's time better spent elsewhere?

its something small...its the internet, its computers, there will always be bugs. It will never be perfect.
As long as the game changing bugs are out of the system, then I see no harm in these small bugs.
Yes, the zooming balls can be game changing...but it happens once out of how many games? I think we should just let it be, nothings perfect.

zoooooooooom! oh look a gb
its fun, but annoying when they get it against you, besides if the balls are overlapping just make sure you dont touch them, could force your opponant to having to play 1 of em which may or may not pot

I have experienced the overlap a couple of times, i agree with kev that it is hardly a cause for concern as it doesn't seem to change the game. When hit, the balls move as you would think they would if there were no overlap. Even if it does effect the game, Jan has a point that Nicks time would probably be better spent elsewhere imo
