Would it be possible to make a members name link to their profile page when they appear on site announcements?

good idea, but honestly needless, you just type there name into "find player" then click there picture for their profile.

I'm not sure it is needless.

I saw your runout about 15 minutes ago and thought i would check your profile, but why should i type in your name to see your history if a simple update could do this in one click?

I think it keeps in line with tournament announcements being linkable and keeps things tidy, although i do concede it isn't something that's at the forefront of site changes.
