Stop Making excuses

I want everyones oppinion here, who would like the europa league part in this tournament. With alot of games being played im quite happy to include this in this season, what do you all think, plus would you want it 3rd place only to go into the Europa or 3rd and 4th like it was in previous season?

if it was 3rd place it would only be 4 people in it, I think you could do 3rd place if it was a 32-man competition - but 3rd and 4th might give a bit more motivation to people - and gives a decent knockout stage afterwards, with identical seeding to champs league

It worked before, as long as it's working now I don't see why not - might keep people interested if this continues

Not that it matters, Europa League means nothing. 3rd place only, you shouldn't get through by coming last.

I gotta say i agree with zantet, put 3rd and 4th thru, everyone deserves a second chance

i say 1st 2nd and 3rd go through

1st place players go into quarters and 2nd and 3rd play to see who gets through so it would be like this

group a runner up vs group c 3rd place (match 1)

group c runner up vs group a 3rd place (match 2)

group b runner up vs group d 3rd place (match 3)

group d runner up vs group b 3rd place (match 4)

quarter finals

group a winner vs winner of match 2 (match 5)

group b winner vs winner of match 1 (match 6)

group c winner vs winner of match 4 (match 7)

group d winner vs winner of match 3 (match 8)

semi finals

match 5 winner vs match 7 winner (match 9)

match 6 winner vs match 8 winner (match 10)

Too confusing, 3rd place will go into the Europa not the Champs league part,

Makes a change pinky your normally always get through will sort the draw out for Europa league when I can e bothered haha

so who are qualified?

Seems like the people who can't get through to the MAIN knockout stages want more games, so let them have it.

What about in future, 4 groups of 6, that means a longer league, better people will get through, and the 3 & 4 can still get into the Europa, then 2 will lose out. Makes it worth while. =)
