Kev mate, I know, but the deadline is the deadline, we ALL have to abide by it, unless they gave you an extension. the point I was making is not just this time, but everytime i've been in it, people don't care bout deadlines. I'm not saying you shouldn't play, I'm just saying I always, make mine, for the past 4/5 seasons in this comp

mr_pink_eyes has just called and myself and welsh_boi_13 are due to attend a disciplinary hearing this evening for not finishing our game in time. He said it will most likely lead to being fined half of our appearance fees and any further winnings either of us receive for competing in this prestigious event

Why, its a great comp apart from that. and i didnt say dont play it, its been like this for ages now, i thought they might step in and maybe sort it out

Fair enough if the deadline is missed - then the runners need to step in and find out whether or not the game is likely to be played soon enough

But when you run a league, especially on a site like this, you HAVE to use common sense and not get too serious.

There was a clear and evident problem - which was unavoidable - preventing the game being played sooner, both pretty active players and i wouldn't expect any other types of problems really (e.g. time zones)

Saying its not fair is pretty silly, because you're just comparing that with you not having as easy access to internet as they do - which is upon you to decide whether you should enter competitions.

and unless a league runner has clearly posted that the deadline is over - i would ALWAYS play the game even after the deadline, because league runners would in any circumstance take the game being played over awarding a default.

also it wouldn't neccessarily be auto DQ-DQ, as players can prove they were reliable and get BYE-DQ which can take several days

Me & liam have been pretty flexible with this comp as is only for fun, we don't intend for it to be serious like the main clan league with strict deadlines, we do hope games are done before deadline but if not we do allow a few days, it has come to a few times we've had to dq players but we would prefer not to, so we allow games to be played after the deadline has gone, because of this this has now been running for 9-10 months so is one of the longest running comps on here so we must be doing something right

Kirk replied that hes been busy this week and only really has timeto browse - but should be ok in a few days
