This has been argued to death.
Since the rules look unlikely to change, we will miss you
Ah! But on your way out, please post on one of the other threads that are open... One of them being on the first page of game queries

Then it's a good idea to learn to play in a more controlled manner and don't pot two balls at a time.
No idea if that applies to you or not, but most people who have trouble with rules like this one are people who constantly play as hard as they can, and basically adopt a constant hit-and-hope play-style. Rules such as this one is in place to prevent precisely such play-styles from paying off.
Playing softer, as well as paying great attention to where your cueball ends up after impacting the primary target ball will not only solve your issues with the two ball rule, it will also, and far more importantly, make you a lot better player.

My opposition to the rule as it stands is well documented on the forum. However, and especially after reading others' views on the matter, I came to accept that that's how things will stand, for now at least. I've come to accept that 2 balls in one shot is an invalid shot here on FP, although I look forward to when this is no longer the case. As things stand, it would be impossible to remove this rule (for the reason that it's against the standard rules) while a ball being missed but the run continuing when another ball flukily drops (which is not a valid pot under standard 14.1 Continuous rules) remains the case. I.e. one of the Funkypool rules is there to accompany the other, as it were.
One solution (I don't know if it's been proposed before) is to have the player replay the shot, but I don't believe that's possible at this time.
You have posted on the threads before (even creating one, in fact), and from looking at you stats, there's no doubt you're quite a good player. All I can say is this: reconsider before making any sort of final judgement.
