Has anyone been to any good concerts this year? What was the best and why as I now need some ideas for 2010!!

I went to see Green Day in Birmingham last night and they were fantastic. Is there any better frontman than Billy Joe Armstrong at the moment? His energy, enthusiasm, humour and most importantly his voice never wavered during the almost 3 hours he was on stage.

Loving the work of the drunk pink bunny too!!!

I can tell you im goin to a cracking concert this year dec 5th im goin to see alice cooper at brighton centre taking my brother for his birthday .

I saw alice back in november 05 he was amazing cant wait to see him again.

I can reccomend nickelback if ya can get any tickets

Also bon jovi is touring tickets go on sale tomorow i believe

Went to see Alkaline Trio in February, they were rather great

Went to see the Goo Goo Dolls the other year as well, they were fantastic.

Also seen the Cancer Bats, FFAF, Gallows, The Used, Rise Against, The Offspring, all good

id love to see goo goo dolls :)

I've seen Journey, Rascal Flatts twice, REO Speedwagon, and a few others. Journey was great.

I almost got Nickelback tickets but decided against it at the last moment

Coldplay were excellent at Wembley in September

Wanted Muse tickets but they are sold out.

I have never been to a concert

I would love to see muse, they are supposed to be brilliant live.

I have many of there albums and live tracks.

I went to see Black Stone Cherry last week. Really good. Hadn't heard of them until last year when they supported Nickelback. Talking of Nickelback, I got a ticket to see them in Liverpool next year (travelling from near Glasgow).

The week before Black Stone Cherry I was at Progressive Nation 09, 4 bands (the last 2 being Opeth & Dream Theater) and what a gig that was!

Got quite a few concerts coming up. Alice In Chains, Dio and then Slayer, the following night.

I have kept all my concert tickets and I've been going to concerts since 1989. Been to well over 100.

Went to U2 last night...was pretty good, the crowd were lost with all of their new songs but was still a good gig...cant beat a good Slane tho

Went to see Green Day on monday actually :) BEST LIVE BAND EVER!!

Seen AC/DC and Metallica this year......Last years Billy Idol gig was fantastic......i Have Motorhead with Girlschool and The Damned..........great triple line up, then 6th December, the return of a great british rock outfit called Skin...............(not skunk annansie)

Avenged Sevenfold were pretty decent, not as good as Alkaline Trio though...

Fave gig so far was Rise Against, but that could be cuz i love them so much

Others that i've seen live which were good are Girls Aloud, Cajun Dance Party and Lionel Richie.

Also seen McFly live too...i'll never get that time back. Ever.

I got next years ticket as well, going to be sweet muse are playing and they are doing a private concert afterwards - im trying to get tickets for that!

Just got my ticket to see Electric Six. These guys put on a very good show

Did you go to this one? Just read a review of this show in The Sun this morning and it sounded really good.
