how about having a professional tournment once day around 8pm in the evening only professional can enter it the game would be us8 ball i would like to here other people,s comments on it

It's alright for all you pro's, but what happens to the current tourny? Does it mean all who aren't pro's have to wait another hour for a tourny?

Alternatively, if it runs alongside the existing one, surely someone might see it as an opportunity toget an easier run in the tourny as all the other 'good players' (pro's/virts) will be in the pro tourny?

But it does open the existing one up to all the others, providing the pro's stick to the pro tourny...

the point off it is to stop people reseting and using 2 accounts our more and if you think about it most off the time professional win it the tournaments only once a day am not talking about every tournament

personally think it would be unfair on people who aren't pro's, some of the people on here have worked there butt off to try and get pro status and still unfortunately aren't there yet, thats my view

There are fake newbies out there who don't play ranked, one of the reasons being because it is their secondary account. What is to stop them taking advantage of the original tourn if all the professional players are in the 'pro only' tournament?

People will use it to their advantage, they always do and always will

I can see the basic appeal in a pros-only tourney, but it would be open to abuse if pros have to avoid a regular tourney at the same time, in that pros could reset or create/use a new account to take part in the other tourney. Also, because pros can take part in regular tourneys anyway, it may as well continue that way, because you still have to beat whoever is drawn against you in each round, and that will in all likelihood be the better players as the tournament progresses.

not a good idea, the majority of pro`s on here think they are unbeatable anyway, ive beaten alot of them and and they end up giving abuse because ive taken alot of points off them. I think pro`s need to step back and take a good look at themselves, cos if being a pro turns u into a huffy git who gets beat by an adept or a newbie, i dont wanna be 1

splash i agree totally with your comments, however what i would like to see is a pro singles league with maybe 10 players in each division and a premier division for virts, this would help with players becoming better and also make the ranking system more accurate,, let me no your thoughts

I am a pro in uk8, i play in the league, i dont play ranked 8ball us, nor 9ball much whatsoever, so i still have my newbie tags from resetting. Would this mean that I cant enter, just cause i dont choose to get my rank up with us8? Means forcing people to play something they dont want, just to gte a shot at entering the pew pew comp, which everyone would wanna enter anyway.

If you want a pro tourny, get everyone to come online and enter the same tourny.

would be well tight and enjoyable pittin yer wits against other decent players.
i also enjoy the fact that some newbie takes u out in a tourny too!...to me its like the FA Cup..

and ok if theres people with 2 accounts not so good but would just get on with it and not be too bothered tbh.
as for obero......if it was to happen then criteria for getting in would probably be Professional Overall so u would need to bump yer other stats up to qualify....gl with that but forcing u to do something u dont want?...if u WANT to play in this (if it happens) then u need to sort out yer stats.
