I don't really like the idea. I never played ranked games because I don't really care about my ranks, so it would mean I'd miss out on the tourney, which is the only reason I come on.

1. If a player has 2 accounts, most people know their second account anyway and can't enter a tourny on both, believe me I've tried got to semi with both and got booted, was funny.

2. To cancel some players out due to their rank is unfair in my opinion that's like halifax saying for example... "you haven't got over 50000 pound you can't bank with us" its not fair and not right.

3. What about actual newbies? For some people it takes a while to get a hand of the game I know it first took me over a year to make pro this would be harsh on them.

4. As emma rightly pointed out it would "premote" (you can tell she's no english teacher) the sitting on 800 strategy people often use which isn't that good in my opinion

5. Some people just don't play rank but are good players, so why should they not be included?
