Jimmy, just do whatever you can, with whatever players you have at your disposal
If some games go to defaults, so be it, but no reason to concede games up front.
For reference, we are discussing the complete removal of "forfeit" and "concede" for next season anyway, meaning all game either get played or go to default.
Allowing players and/or captains to concede games (or remaining frames) is highly prone to disputes and hurt feelings (clan internal too), so better to simply remove it all together.
