Nick said to me that hes working on a big update "for funkypool" a month or 2 ago..

I am sure that it takes a lot of time and effort to make big upgrades to a very popular site like this one.

I am sure that he would need to make sure everything is right before launching it so no major bugs can pull down the whole site for a few days.

Remember, Nick also has a life like you and me (or I would hope so) - he doesnt spend all day infront of his computer upgrading funkypool.

Give it some time, I am sure that the next big update is well worth the wait - it always is.

He's God. We worship him. Therefore whatever he does and however long it takes, we loyal subjects are very grateful for it.


But as Flumpy said, Nick has a life and other priorities. If Funkypool comes bottom of his "list of things to do" this decade, then so be it!

Also, Madmike has been demanding doubles for around 2 to 3 years, imagine the wait he's had to go through!

Just be patient, and I'm sure that whenever an update arises, it will be well worth the wait

This is the second thread regarding updates posted since Nick asked for opinions on a potential upgrade which has had limited feedback.

Regarding doubles, remember progress has been made towards that with the multiplayer options introduced first in golf, then killer.

Considering how quickly things have evolved over the past couple of years, you can hardly say Nick's been slacking

why all the whingeing about updates anyway, with angry faces....

funky pool is free of charge - if there is never another update, it doesnt really matter....

so long as we have pool to play at no charge we should be happy.....

Regarding doubles, i'm sure this will come along eventually (we have only been waiting 4 years or so) but it would make the site a million times better!

I've been a member of funkypool since it started on different user names..
Nick does some codeing wow.. not hard work.. yeah hes got a life and got other things to do but im sure it aint much hard work to code in doubles to the game.

people like me ruin then game how by posting suggestions?
you wouldnt even have half of the sites features if it wasn't for the people like me!
Over the years ive played ive given many suggestion and many of them are implented into the game.

There is nothing wrong with suggestions, and if you have suggested things that got implemented, then well done, the site is better because of it and it demonstrates the value of player input.

What opposition has been expressed against on this thread is the idea that upgrades/updates have to be implemented sooner rather than later. Give it time, and in the meantime, keep enjoying ranking games of tournaments or clan games or whatever your preferred activity on the site is.

I would love doubles to be brought in to the game. To me, that is all FP and FS is missing.

Well said. People, the key word is FREE. I personally find it hard to criticise anything that I am getting for free.

...and after all the years you claim to have been a member you're still here. The site must have something going for it.

i have been here on different accounts and i enjoy it and dont mind if not much else is done because as ace75 has said it is free so quit ur moaning
