Anyone seen the Javelin glitch that Microsoft are temporarily banning people for exploiting?

It is a pretty cheap way to get kills, mind.

I heard about that, and tried it myself in a private game. I agree, it's cheap and unsporting but i think banning is harsh.

For one thing, it is easy enough to trigger the glitch by accident, and to be fair people shouldn't be punished for what seems to be poor game design by IW themselves.

I agree, Sony aren't banning people for using it, as it's not their problem, it's IW's. Sony aren't responsible for it.

Microsoft's online pay isn't free however, and in the terms and conditions it says that you agree to not spoil the game for other people blah blah blah, so that is why they're taking the banning route, because it's spoiling it for paying customers. But in my opinion, it's still a little harsh.

Plus - there's a patch coming soon for it anyway, so it's not even going to be a problem soon.

I dont know about on the Xbox, but on the PS3, the top like 40 people have a score of like 15,000,000,000 and have a play time of 15,247 days.

And there's the kill list......don't get me started on that.......It really ticks me off when people do that

My best killstreak is 19 I think, and my ratio's 0.91 or something, but I don't claim to be any good at the game.

And considering this is the first Call of Duty game I've played since the PS1, I'm not too displeased with that

I play Team Deathmatch usually

i play free for all as i aint unlocked any lmao. Probably dominion or something like that

Domination is what I usually play

and if I want to stay in a party I choose ground war.

I usually play Team Deathmatch but i also play Domination and HQ Pro as they both give loads of XP and sometimes free-for-all but i prefer team work in games like this.

And rogan, i agree what you say about paying for online content on Xbox but we also pay for the game itself including all the content in that game. IMO it's up to IW to fix what was broken in the first place, and Microsoft shouldn't be pointing the finger at individual players who, to be fair, are just playing the game they bought.

Besides, it's very possible to come across this glitch by accident and it can only take one incident for loads of people to report you. It's just typical of Microsoft who are pretty famous for making poorly designed products themselves.
