Would this be like, you have to play for a clan and you have the option of having that clans 'table' or would it be when a person sets up a private game their clans 'table' is automatically on for both players?

judging by what he's said it will only be for clan matches, however there could also become an option when you create a friendly game in the bottom right corner with all the other buttons that allows you to toggle on and off of the clan tables if you both want/ dont want them.

I play pool here in a rather realistic kind a way. Never seen sightspoilin pictures on a real pool table. So why here?

I dont think that this is really needed.

I suggested when colour option on tables came in that we see random colours picked for the table when tournaments are played, but then I was alerted to the fact that there are some colourblind people who play this, and needed the different colour options to distinguish the balls on certain colour tables.

So I think that the pure fact that it will cause problems with colour blindness is a key factor in this suggestion.

However what I wouldn't mind seeing on a clan table is a small watermark logo of each clan that is playing that match on the table, with ability to turn it on and off...but I dont know if or when this can be done.

Because this isn't real pool, its an online game, meaning things can be done in a unique way

Also this may be more impractical in real life as any image would naturally fade/become damaged

With the right colour schemes (the balls need to stand out from the table) some of these would look very impressive and most clan members would probably be for them

True zante - but at the same time I wouldn't like to see this site turn into some cartoon like pool game like Yahoo where its just stupid with animations and sound effects.

If its done right, then I would be all for it...but I am just thinking that if its not done right then it would look stupid, and the other issue of colour blindeness, although as you said zante, would be an optional feature.

Of course the other problem is the under-reliability of clans. One day they are stronger then ever, then in a matter of hours a petty argument can bring down the whole clan...also the fact of new clans popping up all the time and the constant need of creating new table skins.

If those problems can be overcame, then for sure it would be fantastic to see

On the other hand, its fine by me - create your pics - switch em on whilst playin me - and i wont lose many games..
