OMG!!

Ok, so you are a skilled palyer, you play us8ball and you play well...

You paly uk8ball and you like, ok, so not that much skill here, just snooker everyone, but you still whip everyone...

You then go onto 9ball... You see people that are crap at everything have 900 rank in 9ball cause they bash all the balls and fluke the 9 in... or you pot every ball and you are like, omg, i playing so well, and hang the 9, and he pots...

I vote, that 9ball should be thrown away forever onto the garbage pile of life, a granade shoved down the garbage shoot after it, and then some nitrus added to it for good measure. THEN!!! have it run over by a little kid on a tricycle just to embarass that stupid game that is 9ball.

Theres skill involved in 9 ball, you can hit and hope in any game..

Theres a lot of skilled players in 9 ball who can beat any hit and hoper,
you dont want them hit and hoping dont give them the chance to
and to get rid of 9 ball because a few people dont like the ranked games is rather.... drastic

Yeah, I hate flukes, but maybe you should make it be call a pocket to pot in. My rank would so much better if this was added.

You're just as likely to fluke as an opponent and if calling a pocket was added then people would find some other way to moan bout 9 ball

The thing about 9 ball is (as far as I know) that calling a pocket has never been part of it. Look at that movie The Color of Money where Forest Whitaker "flukes" Paul Newman twice in a row.

Killer is the same; once I got a random shot and doubled the black. Ka-chinnnng! It's true, players can be verrrrry lucky with 9 ball, and once or twice I've won games by breaking, watching my opponent clearing to the 8 and missing the 9, and then potting the 9 myself (my second shot of the frame) to win. However, you will notice that, whatever about luck playing its part, the top players are still the best ones. And they will have had their share of luck just as much, as their opponents.

P.S Game Queries?

If you're opponent can fluke something, so can you.

@ james - it was a rant... There will be no vote. There will be nothing done, i was just putting down some crap after i had a laugh with walker about palying well in us and uk8 and then just being retarded at 9ball.

Unfortunately though... flukes are life in 9ball, and any other game... the only difference is that a fluke in 9ball seem to have more influence on the game as there are (yes i know its an obvious point) less balls on the table.
