what was the first ever games console you have had?

I played my sister's NES for a while, but *my* first console was the Sega Megadrive



Sonic & Knuckles, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Fifa Italia 90... *Drowns in a wave of nostalgia*

Sega for me too, I did get a SNES but a Sega first, Sonic (when it was good) , Road Rash, Golden Axe.

Doesn't quite count as a console but console's weren't out when I was a wee nipper

The old ZX Spectrum+

Pretty sure it came with a whole 64k of ram (a 1024k being 1mb)

Mine was the Sega Saturn.
When they came out they cost $399. Top of the line for the day.

The +2 came with 128k, but the basic speccy's ony had 16 (which could play Horace goes Skiing etc)

I grew up with Sinclair computers from the ZX80 Kit and on I had every model.

It was pretty much just pong, but the car raching game had you steering a dot between two lines. Spectaular in its day!
