Hey, today i popped on funkypool in the morning and when you play a game there's always an ad.

However today this morning a new ad came up and like every shot i take lags me now.... is there a way to remove ads?

I don't get problems with adverts now.

Yeah this new ad lags me constantly and i can't play properly with it on my screen when i shoot

There are ways it can be sorted depending on the windows you use.
My old way when i was on XP was removing "Active X", change the pic quailty or with widescreen format move the window to the left which hides the advert. But i don't use any of them now.

Yeh this new ad top right when i play a game and everytime i move the cursor it shakes a lil and when i shoot it shakes so my shots are random of power now.... which sucks and i guess i cba with this for a while now im guessing.....

What ad is it?

Im getting lag too but only when I put spin on :S

Adam maybe its a plan funkypool leaders have made to try and prevent you from winning , or it could actually just be lag, iv been getting it every odd shot when i shoot it just taps, the first few times i thought it was my mistake but its happened to much now, but i cant really pin it to anything.

I cant say its anything really kirk, i noticed theres a new add on the forum page at the side where the evony ad used to be i tghought it may have been this as nothing else sprung to mind, as that ad wasnt there last night and now it is i cant take a shot it varies between the virgin media advert and an advert for adventure quest

You know what now you say that, that is the problem I was having the other day, and if I didnt try and put spin on it was fine

i had lagg with that advert it even logged me out just as i won a torny

I think i might stop as much if it continues because it has lost me loads of games and gets soo annoying.

had the same problem yesterday evening guys....

even went as far as my whole screen froze - went white and i could still hear my opponent potting in the background and my randon shot clock ticking down (think thats what annoyed me the most).......

also, should we really be promoting gambling sites on funky pool with such young users?????

surely, there are other companies who would pay good money for banner advertisements!!!!!!

Am assuming Nick will advertise killerpool on here when its up and running... so I dont think it would be considered an issue.

personally i dont even notice the advertisements.

and its really only the gamblers that will go "hey a gambling site il check that out" i dont think its a major worry with the kids.

least its not cigarrettes
