As far as Steph (pot_the_lot) goes, she IS running the entire league and have being doing so through a massive amount of voluntary, unpaid work since the beginning of leagues here on FP, so complaining about her trying to take over and run things is a bit of a moot point I'm afraid.

As for myself, I have nothing what so ever to do with the clan acceptance in any way or form so you'll have to find yourself someone else to whine to about that.

they've been doing a fine job and just because they dont agree with you on every single issue doesnt mean you can thrown a tantrum about it

I do a hell of a lot in my spare time for all clans and i do not appreciate this attitude i get i can easily pull plug on clans if ya not happy.

I was going to remove the post, however I think the posts above me highlight the extreme ignorance and stupidity of the comments made.

Please don't personally attack members on our forum again as it may lead to you posting abilities being taken from you.

As for the league. If you don't like the way it's run, leave. Please don't keep complaining the way you are as it is neither constrctive or going to help anything.

This unfortunately IMO mate is taking it a little too far......until an alternative to the current clan league is up and running, we do need to respect (in public) the league organizers regardless of personal opinion.......

We all know the chat that is going on behind the scenes for a lot of people, but personal opinions regarding individuals on funky pool must be kept to yourself or a private conversation

tbh - pulling clans - i think this this is the kind of attitude cool is trying to show up....

if ya dont like it - we are not changing - i thought clans were for everyone and that clan foruns were there to discuss things......

if maybe you were to take a look at a few of your own recent posts from another point of view, you might see why some people are beginning to get annoyed.....

i appreciate the job that all clan runners are doing, but they have to remember - they run the league - thats it - nothing more, nothing less....

PS - Getting really sick and tired about this voluntary unpaid work being thrown up......absolute rubbish - we do something coz we enjoy it - the league runners enjoy doing it - its a hobby - not a job!!!!!!

Clans are for everyone but this Clan League is run by Adam and Steph the way they want it run. That is no different to any other competition in any other sport. Its everyone's choice whether they want to compete in it or not. Positive discussion is fantastic and encouraged at all times. For every one of those people not happy with the way things are run I would imagine there are at least the same number of people that are whilst the rest (the majority) dont care and will play no matter what which, by default, makes them happy with it too.

People need to remember that this is meant to be for fun at all times, if nothing else.

the problem some people are having is that overstepping the mark and trying to interfere with the running of individual clans is not down to league organizers

so long as there are 12 registered players competing at any one time then they should be happy

Yes by why do they have other members they are holding players that they dont need which is unfair to the players like we told u 12 was maximum u could have.

Because they aren't part of the league 12 those players CAN move and there is absolutely nothing the clan captain can do to stop this.

Some players would be ok with being outside the 12 and if they aren't happy with that they leave, simple as.

Get as sick and tired as you like - you are still wrong. Of course they are motivated by the reward of seeing a large league system actually work and the fact that a LOT of people are appreciative about it, but the work itself, if you think anyone actually likes spending that time, you need to think again.

Besides, this really boils down to this: Accept that THIS league is run by Steph and her crew. She IS trying to accommodate all opinions as much as can be done, but you can't please 150 players at once - they won't ever be of one mind, period...

Actually me, dannymiller and master_pool started this league that we use now, so really they dont own one bit of it, no one does and if anyone does we do then.

Wrong Adam started the clans i joined him to help then u and master attempted u both ended up otherwise engaged then me an yoda took it on and then adam joined me and me and he have been running it now for past 4 seasons.

I very much agree and have on several occasions, both as a FP moderator as well as a regular player had to work a bit to make clear the difference between the league and how that is run on one hand, vs what people choose to do here on the funkypool site.

There used to be league rules about who could post new clan threads etc here on this forum. Those are gone - because of me. Just an example.

People are of course free to start and form whatever kind of teams and play in whatever kind of other events they like here on funkypool, as long as they stay within site rules of course.

What you need to realize tho, is that when you DO choose to sign up for Steph's league, you choose to abide by the rules for that league. If she don't want more than 12 players in a clan, that means you sign up with 12 of your people. Nothing more to it. As I said earlier, if your clan has another 88 members, that's none of our business. It IS very unfortunate for others than you choose to run a larger clan, but it's nothing anyone can control or govern.
