RULES

The captain of each clan must select 8 players from their team each week, with the remaining clan members being substitutes. The captains must then send these lists to pot_the_lot by the Friday before the week of play. Otherwise, the same 8 that played the previous week will be selected.

Fixtures are given out every other Sunday and all games must be played by the deadline given. Very few exceptions will be made.

The format of a game is:
* 5 matches of 8 Ball US
* 5 matches of 8 Ball UK
* 5 matches of 9 Ball
The winning clan for each fixture (once individual scores have been totalled) receives a 20 point bonus. In the event of a tie, both clans receive a 10 point bonus.

If a game is not played, the result will be decided by the League Runners, based on the attempts made by both players to play the game. If a game has been started but not completed, then the result will stand unless pot_the_lot allows a small extension. If a game is forfeited, the opponent will receive maximum points that are remaining.

Defaults if u receive 2 defaults against you, you can be removed by league runners from clan league.

If you leave a clan during the season, you cannot play for another clan until the next season. Captains may sign anyone at any time, as long as they have not been registered for another clan that season. Stealing players from other clans is only allowed during the off-season.

New clans will only be accepted into the league if they show themselves

to be reliable. This is decided by assessing the ability of the captain to run the clan and looking at the players in the clan. For example, a team of new players is less likely to keep going compared to a clan of established players.

Subs will allowed but you must make contact with pot_the_lot before doing so. You must be sensible when subbing, if you feel a player is not gonna be able to complete his/her match then make a sub as early as possible to allow them and their opponent to arrange a time to play. No subs after the second Thursday in the 2nd week of fixtures as there is not enough time after this day to play. Exceptions can be made if people are online and ready to play, speak to pot_the_lot.

Cup substitutions these must be made by the tuesday evening 8pm to again allow ample time to play.

Rules will only be changed IF it is necessary.

These are the official clan rules from the clan website - I dont see anything about 12 players - also, I have registered only 12 players with pot_the_lot and these are players eligible to play at the moment...........if i want to make a change with anyone in my clan i am quite entitled to do so

Does that mean only your original players will be playing? or that one of your new signings wont be able to play at all this season? *confused*

Ok let me tell u this u cannot have more that 12 ppl i will know if u try playing anymore that the 12 on the website as i can only input 12 players and when changes need to be made that player gets removed and cannot be put back in till new season when its all new and fresh.

I will go look up at rules and amend as they need to be as its agreed u can have maximum 12.

Think a clan can have as many players as it wants but only a max of 12 players can be registered at 1 time for the league as I understand.

thats my thinking mate - i have ended up twice this season having to find new players because of 2 getting banned.

by having the extra already in place, they will slot in if anything else happens

ie the rookie hasnt been on for over a week and might need replaced at short notice if something has happened......

i would rather people on here focus on the important things and let me run my clan

as for you "knowing if i try to play anyone" Steph - if you were to count up the amount of times I run things past you before making any decisions you will know i play straight down the middle - nothing hidden - to me, it is forward thinking to ensure the clan runs as smoothly as possible - but to others - i cant say what i want as it will be removed
