A half-hour program that looks at the things that happened in Irish and world history for a specific year. Today they showed 1999, the year that Ireland joined the Eurozone, and NATO got involved in conflicts in Kosovo and East Timor. Yeltsin also resigned that year, and there were hits for B*witched and Westlife. G ay Byrne (damned censor but that's his name) was host of the Late Late Show for the very last time ever having set a world record for longest-running chat show host, and was presented with a Harley Davidson by Bono and Larry Mullen from U2. And Terry Keane came on the Late Late Show and exposed her long-running affair with former Irish Taoiseach Charles Haughey. (I remember watching that particular show, my jaw nearly hit the floor.)
