Gilli, you are right.

Being a moderator is not a step up from a user. You have to make sure you can be on to run your tournaments and you get moaned at and criticised all the time. You may enjoy a quiet game of pool occassionally as a user, you'll be lucky if you get to play one whole game of pool without a complaint, a "make me moderator" request, or a mention of someone cheating/swearing etc.

I have never understood why so many people seem to get so worked up about it. Time, effort, commitment and all to help the site.

When premium user is available, I think I'll go for that! ;-)

i'm very sorry people had to read that . ovioulsy you can see me and raiden have our differences. i personally didn't want it to come to this but thats the way its gone. i can't say sorry enough. By now your expecting one of us to say we're leaving we are fed or something along those lines, and i can safely say i for one won't be saying that all though i feel it.

Look lads, why fall out about nothing. It's obvious this started a little while ago. I have had fall outs with quite a few people. Up and comin, Lars, even nicknax (was a while ago now) But I am mates with all of them now.

everybodys got an issue with nev, because if you beat him, he boots you. been proved many times by many different users. my thoughts are if someone doesnt know how to work out who is who, and has been doing the 'administration' on site for 3 years, hes either really thick, or has amnesia

If someone complains about a member of the funkypool team, the e mail will come to me. I have only ever had one complaint about nev in all this time, and that was for one of the reasons that someone has said above.

Nev has lost 503 games in total, and yet I've only ever had 1 e mail to complain about being booted. Something doesn't add up here?

It has never been proved by different users. As for lars, good riddance to bad rubbish is a pretty good saying in this instance. The one complaint I got about wrongful booting was about lars, and yet he should have been banned at that time anyway, so Nev is faultless.

Put your two pennys worth in if you must, but please back up what you say with something that is true.

hey raiden i love your original thread! you should do a little complaint about every player on funkypool, it would rule, do it in fun and games!

Thanks so much to everyone that thinks I should be a mod. I try! Raiden, don't go. You're a great asset to this site, and an awesome player. Just don't get on as much!

I know for sure Raiden doesnt want to be mod, he was one!!! Obviously if he wanted to be, he still would be.

As for Andy and Raiden's problem...good luck sorting it. Andy you did say some harsh things, but I think the two of you should just let it go. Ignore eachother completely, and just enjoy the site for what it is really here for. To play pool.
