You may know I enjoy creating and playing in unnofficial events as its a nice friendly break away from the fast and furious funkypool tournaments.

I aim to successfully complete events and tournaments that rarely get finished on this game. I finished "pool vs snooker", mini snooker doubles leage and am currently in the middle of a "snooker clan league". My next challenge is to complete a "football style" ladder which this is.

What is a ladder?

If you dont already know a ladder is any number of leagues above one that works in divisions. The divisions are ranked then a season is played and players are promoted and relagated.

And football styled?

This basically means it will have the same league table as in the english football league and the systems will be the same. Featuring play offs, relegation, promotion and applying for re-election.

Can I join?

There are strict rules on reliability you must be a consistent user of the site and forums to play. You dont have to of reached any skill level aslong as your reliable. There is no real limit of entrants as you will soon find out...

How will this work?

Everything will be posted on here aswell as results. Also expect messaged round with the latest updates fixtures and so on. There will be a very small website of about 2-3 pages with the league tables shown clearly.

League information

As usual ive rambled on without really giving you any real information so here it is.

I will open entrants for about a week there is no cap on entrants there will be 2 divisions possibly 3 if I get alot of intrest. Hoping to get at least 8 in each league.

There will be no weekly fixtures as it can be a restriction in these kind of leagues. You can play anyone in your division whenever you want and will have say 3 weeks to play everyone once. After this you can play all opponents again so theres like a "home and away" scheme.

Games are strictly 8ball games only. You play only one frame of 8ball us and one frame of 8ball uk. Therefore a draw is possible results to be recorded on this thread.

At the end of the season which should take around 6 weeks depending on entrants though the top 2 teams from division 2 shall be promoted automatically. Then the next 4 places 3-6 will have a play off to grab the final promotion place. The bottom 3 from division 1 will be relagated.

There will be an on going cup where both divisions compete the games will still be 8ball games but frames have yet to be decided.

The bottom 2 from division 2 will then have to apply for re - election ifthey wish to play in the next season. This means battling it out with those also wanting to join the league.

How many people play in it?

Was vaguely said.

Theres no limit as long as each division has equal amount of players it doesnt matter.

After a week of entrants or possible less I will even them out.

One thing I forgot the divisions will be decided on win percentage added together in both 8ball game types.
