And to be honest, it's "mind over matter" rather than "no pain no gain". Unfortunately, the mentality is "winning is everything" and to win, sometimes you need to block out pain. Least I rested my thumb, was just missing the action, probably same with my bro. It's the don;t want to let your team mates down attitude rather than the no pain no gain
