see if anything can come out of this one.
All the AFL, NRL, Super 14, A-League and Domestic Cricket news should be put here.
Dunno how successful this will be, but its here if anyone wants to talk Aussie Sports!!!
Also a chance for the "others" overseas to ask questions about our weird and wonderful sporting competitions.

Go the bombers , they were the closest losing margin to St Kilda, what a team we have this season all those youngsters coming through the ranks!
NRL has been pretty disappointing with all of its off fields shambles.
A-league - disappointing Australian best team Adelaide United , couldn't find a investor.
Good thread flumps!

thanks lol
I think the Lions are going to be the closest threat to St Kilda in the AFL match this Sunday.
And Gold Coast united is lookin pretty good for their first A-League season with Jason Cullina as their captain...
looking good for Australian sport at the moment

Well, well it is footy fever this weekend - the Grand Final
Saints v Geelong
should be a good game, but is probably going to be wet so my bets is a low scoring game, but saints to win by 7!

my tip is the saints by 5 points.
should be one of the greats - possibly better than Sydney v West Coast of 2006
Riewoldt with the winning goal and also taking out the Norm Smith Medal.
Umpires:
Field: Brett Rosebury (8) - First Grand Final (emergency last year)
Stephan McBurney (3) - Fourth Grand Final
Shaun Ryan (25) - Second Grand Final
Field Emergency - Ray Chamberlain (18) - First Grand Final
Boundary:
Darren Willsion - Twelfth Consecutive Grand Final,
Adam Coote - Third Grand Final,
Mark Foster - First Grand Final,
Mark Thompson - First Grand Final
Goal Umpires:
David Dixon - Third Grand Final,
Mark Canning - ?? Grand Finals
Hopefully my name will be among those umpires one day...should be a classic game.
