After the success of the trip to Dublin where myself, mich, _niall_, smithbit, tiny_bert and fiercediety got together.......it made sense to be England next!

So a couple of months ago, ul_son came up with the idea of coming to England to see his beloved Liverpool side win the PL title at The Hawthorns.........it didn't go exactly to plan though.

Not only did Liverpool blow their chances of a title in advance of his trip but they moved the game back to the Sunday which messed the plan up.....cheers SkyTv!

But he had booked himself and two of his mates in Dublin onto the cheapest flight he could find out of that "country" he lives in, so there was no going back at this point. I grabbed a couple of my mates to come along for the trip and a host of other people added their names to what should have been a party well into double figures.

So we ended up in a group of nine, only 3 actual Untouchables on the night made it but the rest were honuary for the night!

So how to describe the day...I got up midday on Saturday and started ringing round the lads to get them all outta bed.

After agreeing to pick my lads up around 2pm, I got ready and headed up to Genie's. We shot up to Derby and grabbed Jit who delayed us as we ran a couple of little missions in Derby before leaving...

We jumped on the A38 at about 3pm and cruised along at a ton until we hit Brum and it's speed cameras
Having already had numerous phone calls from Mich and Red to see where we were, they had left the hotel we stayed in and started drinking in Sports Bar.

We arrived at the hotel, checked in and then headed down to Sports Bar for a beer. After a couple of games of US pool on rubbish tables with rubbish cues and massive balls, we had our first memorable moment.
Jit sat next to Genie at a table, turns to him and says, "Check that black girl out, she's fit, I'm on that."
Genie looks over and then replys, "Thats my cousin." Which at the time was pretty damn hilarious!

Anyways, me, G and J headed off with Becky to run another errand for half an hour. Instead we got sidetracked and ended up being two hours but accquired another person for the party. Another of Genie's cousins had joined the group and we chipped back to the hotel with Big D.

After Becky took at least another hour to get ready, at which point the other lads musta thought we'd ditched them, we flew down to join them in O'Neils.

After a beer or two in O'Neil's and a singalong to Wonderwall we headed down Broad Street. There had been a moment of panic as we realised Mich was wearing trainers instead of shoes, so we headed straight to Gatecrasher, figuring if we got there by 11 we might sneak in.....no joy but luckily on the way up we had seen an old friend working the doors at OH Velvet and arranged to return there if we didnt get in Gatecrasher.



Predictably we were turned away, so headed back down there, not before being accosted by a lady offering cheap entry to a new club if all of us went in. We decided to go there afterwards and went into Oh Velvet where we took over the pool tables. We had a few rounds in there and a few drunken frames of pool where nobody made a name for themselves......lmao!



From there we headed down to the club we'd passed earlier and after loving the cheap entry, we watched our wallets drain at the £20 for 3 drinks they were charging....now we know why it was cheap entry!

Sometime during us heading out for a smoke on the roof terrace and coming back, Red's mate Niall managed to get escorted from the premises and Red left with him, leaving his other hammered mate, Will, standing on his own. We grabbed him on the way back and propped him up against a wall!

After a "slight" altercation with a lad in the toilets and his drunken attempt at a headbutt, Red reappeared.

He maintained his camera shyness though and took the last picture of everyone in the club. As you can see by now, Will was barely conscious



We arrived back at the hotel little before 3AM carrying the lightweights with us!

Jit was comatose upon arrival-



Mich headed back down to his room after a short smoke with us and then we began the drunken afterparty, keeping the adjoining rooms awake

After that discussion ended, Big D jumped in a cab around 4.15AM. Me and G went down with him and then got trapped in a lift with three shreiking Cockney birds on the way back up......

After 5 hours sleep, me and Jit were waken by Genie snoring loud enough to annoy reception so went and grabbed some breakfast in Wetherspoons

When we got back we did a tour of the rooms and woke all the lads up.







We checked out and then all hooked up in Lloyds before heading down to Oh Velvet again for more pool.

There was another video which showed myself and Red's superior intellect on both Bullseye and Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old....as well as me beating mich at pool......unfortuantley Red made the video 10.23 mins and youtube do not accept videos over 10.00mins.......if anyone knows how to split a video in 2 parts let me know so I can upload that!

All in all a good craic, we left around half 3 the Sunday although Mich was stranded until gone 9pm waiting for a train.....

Next time is Liverpool, anybody up for that mail me xD

It may be worth mentioning that in this session I did a full circle unbeaten twice and was in double figures for games won, retiring twice to smoke unbeaten!
And as you can see, I am far from playing well here.....which I guess says a lot about the standard of the opposition

Looks like a good time was had by almost everyone, a bit disappointed I couldn't make it! Loving the running commentary on the pool, a future John Virgo on our hands here
