This would, in my opinion, be the best solution.

Simply because it would:

1. Allow clans to substitute players as necessary
2. Negate any need for policing or interpretation what so ever

Both important points imo....

soon be holiday time so Im thinking to make sure everyone has cover it would be a good idea to increase clan maximum size from 11 players to 12 or unlimited, 8 players would still play in the league and with the cup there would be plenty games to keep all players happy.
you could still have 11, just raise the maximum

excellent idea ab, im struggling with my team at the minute as a few are asking for time off. so an extra player would come in handy for me.

yeh same here i agree wiv u ab totally just to have 8 players and 4 subs is a great idea i think that should be brought into the next season

Could do with a 12th man like

Is there any chance a decision can be made with Ab's idea please, so captains can get there clans sorted for next season.

If its left to the last minute and its decided we are allowed a 12th player then people are going to be fighting over players to get there team together.

Why are you nominating people that are committed to clans already? Won't it seem a little unfair that they have to decide the fate of decision making? Shouldn't someone who isn't involved with any clan make the decision? Wouldn't that be the fairest way?

I am, by no means, saying that they would bend a decision to benefit their own clan. They are both honest people, but doesn't it seem logical to appoint people that are unbiased? I see them as honest people, but someone else might not, and I think it will cause a huge (and completely unnecessary) argument down the line.

Or am I just trying to be smarter than I really am?


And I know I'm a bit behind on the subject, but my opinions are:

1.) It would be almost impossible to judge whether a sub was made because of a personal problem or for tactical reasons. After seeing my opponent, I could easy go up to my captain, Mr. Dude, and tell him that I will be working extra hours for the next two weeks. How will he know that I'm lying? How will anyone but me know? How can anyone justifiably make a decision on whether the sub was for tactical reasons or personal?

2.)It seems more and more people are being banned for multi-using, cheating, etc... Why should we make exceptions because captains are complete morons......

They should do a bit more research into the people they recruit. If I saw someone that is already above the 800 mark after 3 days of membership, I would suspect that the person would be banned soon....Not only do I think that no exceptions should be made for banned users, I think that captains that choose a member like that should be force-feed horse dung until they turn into Popeye.

3.) I feel that a new rule should be established. I believe that there should be a waiting period before someone can join a clan. If we put...say a 3 month waiting period on the joining process, it will eliminate all the banned users from being drafted into clans. It's a bit harsh, but I think it will do much more good than bad.

would a cheater want to keep it up for 30 days...they would get bored of it after a week (or I would...not that I have done anything sus)
