I have ran an idea to madmiketyson and he said to post it on here and see if people like it. so this is my idea -

Its all about transfers and what happens is that every clan will have a certain amount of money in a clan. they can buy players with that money, but the transfer period is in between every season so it is not during a season. the way to work out how much every player is that you would add up all there ranks from 8 US, 9 Ball and 8 UK and you would devide that by 3 so that is how much a player would cost.
If it does go along and i do make a website it would have : how much money a clan has and how much people are and all the transfer that have been.
So if you like the idea please post here and this can be up and running quicker....

I think it's a great idea, would take a lot of commitment and work from whoever runs this feature though, but aslong as that is given, should add a nice bit of spice and further enhance the qualities of the league.

not sure about this, not all players play rank, some are alot better than their rank indicates, some are not as good lol

would also cause arguments if a players wants to tranfer and the captain says no, would stop players becoming free to choose which clan they want to play for.

I am one that doesn't really bother with ranked games, more into tournaments than ranked games, and what happens if I want to join a clan and they want me but can't afford me?

What about people who just leave a clan for some reason, then join another clan that they would not have been able to join had they not left?

Sounds a good idea but has some flaws as alan has pointed out plus are you saying that a clan can only get players if they buy them?, what happens if half a clan leaves, will they have enough money to buy new ones?.

Suppose the system could be sort of implemented just among players that move from one clan to another and not to new players who come into clans for the first time, as you could work out players worth from their individual stats from the season before.
Might stop also all the best players going into one clan but wether this could or should be forced onto clans to stick to is up for debate, it will make more work for somebody if this did go ahead.

Yea I think it is safe to say that might be the biggest issue with this.

Maybe the only way you should be bought (lol) is if you agree to be listed?

Then it basically stays the same as it is now, when you leave a clan there is usually a few clans asking for your services, just add a price tag to it, so free agents cost

What about players who reset their stats for the start of each season just to be cheaper, or have a bad patch to be cheaper?

Thing I would implement on that is to go on last season stats on individual league and the player's average points gained.

what if ... u get money to Make a Clan .. and then the players themselves .. Pay to join the clan and if they wanna leave they have to pay to leave the Clan .. Just to get the clan reputation Higher for the amount of money put into it Obviously the amount to join is gonna be lower than the exit fee .. then How about sticking some New Cues into the mix which u win after a certain amount of tournaments won or certain rank reached ..

thanks lol its true tho, and ppl like above are trying to make things well to complicated. the league works well now as it is.

Things can always be improved, no matter how fantastic the league is at the moment, and that's all people 'above' are trying to do, improve the league.

It is always great to see suggestions being put forward to expand it and make it better and credit is due to mnm and others for doing just that.
