Why does everything in the world have to revolve around money?

I know heres an idea lets just leave it the way it is were all having fun and it is kind of hassle free.

Why cause more comotion and bring "money" into it when there is absolutely no need for it.

If a player wants to join a clan, that clan wants them and has space why should they need to pay?
Players belong to no-one but themselves, they have no contracts drawn up and i dont see what the problem is with the current system!
