He has the right to make his own clan league, pointless as this venture would be

The current league serves the purpose of running all the clans in a competition, I cannot see why any clan would participate in 2 leagues that are the same but I guess time will tell.

It strikes me as odd that a player who can no longer play in the current league due to unreliability at playing his own games, let alone running a clan, would think that they are capable of running the entire league.

Until you try, you have no idea how difficult it is to do......

I will offer the best of luck with this venture though, the competition won't bother me, I thrive on it

Also another note on the same topic:

In general I appreciate the rights for anyone choosing to host an event or league to set forth the rules for that event as they see fit. There is however one exception to this: No event/league may claim exclusive rights to participating players.

In short, if players taking part in one league would like to play in another, completely unrelated event, they should be free to do so.

Since none of these events are sanctioned by funkypool or run as part of the site, we need to give anyone wanting to host an event equal opportunities to do so - including the access to the same player pool.

100% Correct as well......as i say above, all clans can feel free to join another identical event, to me I just fail to see the point, but to clarify that does not mean you cannot do this or you will have to leave the current event.

I strongly doubt this will get off the ground anyway (after a message from __mnm__) so I will make this my last post on the matter!
