ive played counter strike but not counter strike 1.6. y did they call counter strike 1.6? y not counter strike 2, ODD.

Because it is all the updates and that. It started at counter strike 1, then .1 .2 .3 etc. Then they made condition Zero. Then source.

I think I am right. But I ain't sure, you might have to ask Dazzo
