There appears to be many different views about acceptable uses of snookering and doubling. Regardless of the game rules that the software controls, are there any ettiquete rules to obey?

Etiquette rules - none whatsoever. Some players don't like it, but there's nothing to stop them doing it. I will appreciate a good snooker against me when it happens.

True, it can be annoying to be repeatedly snookered, but when you see a player do that to you a couple of times, that's when your tactics will change. Trust me, it's happened!

Very good question though. Barely any players will post on the forums to ask questions about form or etiquette. Complain about it, yes, but query...?

Snookering, with the clear intent of provoking a foul, is every bit as much part of the game as anything else - regardless of whether you have pots yourself.

If people moan about getting snookered, it clearly means you are doing something right

Thanks for your response. I agree that snookering is part of the game and also agree that it can become annoying. I'll refer to the forum, should the need arise.
