It's not working for me. I plugged the cable in directly from the modem and it's still not getting internet. Can anyone help?

I'm no genius, but don't you need at least a router for such a thing?

My PS3 is connected wirelessly to my router, I didn't realise you were able to connect it with a wire..

It has an ethernet port in the back. Does it have to be wireless?

I don't think it has to be, but i wouldn't know, on my ps3 im using the wirless router to get connection, so i don't exactly if it has to be wireless!

I use my ps3 wireless didnt know you could connect a line to it...

I have got ps3 but lost with how to set it all up lol i am hopeless

My ps3 is using a wired connection. For me it worked perfect. Not an expert on this stuff but it was pretty simple just went step by step. I know people that had trouble though.

Well mine work great so thats all that matters.

Not necessarily, wireless loses connection more often than wired.

And yes, I know you may have not EVER lost connection, so you don't need to tell me how good your connection is, I'm simply just stating that a wired connection is more reliable.

Plus, it has the same effect, the only downside is that you have to actually have a wire plugged into your PS3, and well, if that doesn't bother you then, wired is just as good.

mines ired and the only problem i get is falling over it wen drunk but works fine all time
