Wow shock of all shocks today, Ronnie is out, beaten 13-11 by Mark Allen.

Ronnie will probably come out now and say he's gonna retire, then return again in a few months

LOL Allen was highly rated this season! If you saw the vid of him beofre his match when he said, Ronnie's been at the Worlds 16 times and won it 3 times...that means he's been beaten 13 times! I'm gonna make it 14..you cant fault the lad for his confidence!

Obviously with the Rocket out there'll be less of a buzz out there but Id rather not have someone who puts a towel over his head during a match in the tourney!

Anyone see the incident in the Selby v Dott match where Dott put his fist over the pocket to prevent the cue ball going in, Selby picked the ball up assuming it went in, but Chamberlain called the foul on him as "the cue ball never left the bed of the table", gave the cue ball to Dott to take from the D as the "cue ball had left the table" because Selby picked it up.

What confuses me is what about jump shots and kicks, the cue ball leaves the bed of the table then, why can't the other player have ball in hand then :S

But Dott was unsporting in my opinion, carrying on, should have potted the white delibrately to give Selby 4 points back and ball in hand which he SHOULD have had because the cue ball would have gone in off had he not intervened.
