I know this has been mentioned before, but I couldn't find a thread specificly on this subject, if there is one then please cap this.
I just think the playing on feature that is implemented in straight and over on snooker should be used in the other games too.
I've just missed out on a 9ball run out due to the opponent leaving when I was on the 9 which was over the pocket.

An excellent point, and it has been mentioned before. I'm not gonna look for it, but I think it's a very old poiunt anyway and the thread will have been auto-capped.

Fair enough, it just seems to make sense to me to have it in all games for the purposes of run outs and 7 ballings.

I totally agree with the comments previously stated!
Example, I was in the 8 ball tourney, beating my opponent, when I was on for a 7 balling!
What did he do?
Leave the game, so unfortunately for me, I won the game by default!
I then contacted my opponent, who rather sharpishly logged out, then back in again and informed him that it was rather childish!! You can imagine the response!!

I remember posting on a couple of threads like this.
And so I shall again.
I still cant believe it hasn't been implemented, snooker has it, straight has it...
Why not the rest?
Although, I think people are a lot more courteous than they used to be, and most will stay to let you attempt to finish your run.

Calling on an admin to answer that really

Yep, this has drove me mad for ages, I've often been left in isolation by an opponent just as I'm about to complete a runout! Very frustrating!

This would be good.
It's a shame for people that are on the black for a runout only for the opponent to leave.
If snooker players can play on after an opponent leaves, we should too!

This probably wouldn't effect me greatly as i dont often set out to get runouts or 7ballings but i can only see this being an improvement to the game

It happens on funkysnooker so really can't see a reason as to why it shouldn't get brought in on funkypool.

Totally agree with the first bit, cost me three UK run outs and numerous US8 and US9 run outs......I remember the UK ones more cos I struggle with that game
As for the second bit, I have to disagree, Steph is a fair player
Be nice to see this implemented, possibly even before doubles

If its brought in over here, you still won't be able to carry on in tournaments.
That's to stop you getting DQ'ed if the time runs out while you're still playing. Although a fair compromise is to stop the break at the one minute warning.

well yeah, I think thats where the person is most likley to leave - when they know they are about to be knocked out.
To be brutally honest, I think its long overdue.

Yeah its never happened to me before (amazingly) that someone has left as I'm about to complete a runout. At the moment I'm in a nip-and-tuck race with lordpool to see who the first person to 100 US8 runouts will be and recently I've been rushing blacks a bit in case the other guy leaves the room. Touch wood it hasnt happened yet because unlike the others above I'm a nice guy . I'd love to see this implemented for peace of mind
