Yeah most people do stay so you can complete it but seeing as though I mostly only play friendlies and tournaments these days (as ranked gets me worked up ) you can never count on people staying the whole game (especially guests).

Missed couple of easy blacks for runouts recently....was it because of too much beer or is it the fear that the other guy, who so far as failed to say gg after a game, may leave early... Answer: both probably but would be good if this gets changed for 8 ball.

In ranked games it tends not to happen as much because then the player who leaves will definately lose, but if they stay there is a chance they can go on to win.
But for friendlies, especially against guests, there is little stopping people from just leaving.
Which, as a player who plays a ton of 9ball friendlies inbetween tournaments, becomes a real problem.

if u can play on for straight ball should be able to do same for any other game type. cant be that much hard work? everyone will be happy
