Leaving 4 days to get a game done vs. a subbed opponent is a pretty sensible minimum as far as I'm concerned.

I agree with both parts of this.

A precedent was set for late subs, but the important aspect is to understand that this must be subject to MUTUAL agreement. I'm sure neither league hosts would have a problem with that.

My only grudge with a later-than-Wednesday sub is the reduced chance of getting the game played when a sub could perfectly well been decided earlier.

And yes, of course a late sub runs the risk of a lost default too - that goes without saying.

im not gonna get into a debate about subs, or worry about players not logging in 2 days into the week, I hope not but as I said if the leagues decided with defaults so be it

sorry guys but Im stepping down as captain for various reasons, I have spoke to Keith (horse10000) and he will take over as captain for the new season, Im sure he will do a great job, I will be staying in the clan as a player and be there to help Keith if needed,
