Well it goes like this
There are 3 parts
Part One:
The President/Prime Minister Elections
Part Two:
The Parliamentary/Senatorial Elections
Part Three:
The Supreme Court or whatever England has Elections
People can run and have pretend parties and debate over the issues facing Funkypool. As not a lot of people will run their will only be 10 senators and 7 justices including one Chief Justice.
Though the whole idea could be just for fun, when people are elected and they decide on issues then Nick and the mods could see how funkypoolers feel on certain issues.
Of course, nick and the mods would have the final say in any issue it might be an interesting thing to do.

Isn't that sort of what Game Queries is for? But instead of having a set few people vote and debate, anybody can.
I don't see any differences between your idea and the Game Queries forum.

A good point but the Game Queries section can get unorganized the point of this is to organize it

Thats why we have different threads mate..
Someone puts forward a new idea about the ranking system - the debate about that goes in one thread.
Someone puts forward an idea about a new game - the debate about that goes in another thread.
It sounds like you're trying to over-complicate things.

19:50 Wed 8 Apr 09 (BST) [Link] A valid argument but I still think that this could help gain an overall consensus on certain arguments. Any game queries would be put to the test of the Parliament/Senate.

Also, why should a set few people decide on whether something is good or not? If they decide they like it, however the majority don't, its not really useful is it?

I see what you are getting at but if that concerns you so much why can not everyone be a senator? We could just cut out those elections entirely and on a certain day the people vote on an issue. Of course they would not have the final word nick and the mods would

More fun than seriousness but if people like the idea it could become serious

Isn't Game Queries already the Parliament/Senate?
It follows that Nick and his admins are the Government, and the entire moderating team is the judicial system as they can boot people and moderate threads.

yes i see the flaw in the plan but i still think it would be nice if the public voted in a singular place about a singular idea everyday
