As king9ball1 has not turned up, this makes things very easy. I therefore receive my second bye in a row and go into the last 4 of the Winners' Bracket, while king9ball1 drops into the loser's bracket to play a best of 3 showdown against _mnm_. The draws for the next round of both will take place very soon. This evening in fact.

What happens next?
The next thing to happen for will be that the four players in the Losers' Bracket will become 2 and be joined then by 2 losing players from the Winners' Bracket. But not before some games are played, and then not before the draws are done.

So is it possible cloone someone from the losers bracket can still win?

It is entirely possible that someone from the Losers' Bracket can still win, but they have to go unbeaten now for the rest of the tournament. They need to 1) beat everyone else in the Losers' Bracket 1-0, thereby becoming the last player standing in that bracket, and then 2) beat the last remaining player in the Winners' Bracket twice in best of 3 matches.

Q: Why is it twice?
A: The first time will be so that the Winners' Bracket player will have lost one match. Remember, you're not out till you lose two matches.

Q: Why does it go back to being best of 3 and not a one frame knockout?
A: The one frame knockout rounds are to encourage the Losers' Bracket to make progress, as for every round of the Winner's Bracket, there are two rounds of the Loser's Bracket, and this will become apparent in the coming days. But when we get to two players left, one beaten and one unbeaten, this condition is no longer necessary.
