I have a close relative who was involved in a radio broadcast last week and i need to record the show for prosperity. The show is archived on the BBC site, but it will only be up for another 3 days for public listening.

I tried one piece of software to record the stream, but the recorded file has a lady interrupting every 10 seconds advising me to buy the full product. I don't mind paying out because i really need the recording, but if there's a free piece of software that does the trick without any time limits or interruptions i will obviously go for that!

This is what i used and will upgrade if no luck: http://www.nch.com.au/soundtap/index.html

Could somebody please point me in the right direction!

Thanks.

Still shareware though

However, this (odd looking, but functional) one is completely free : http://www.mp3mymp3.com/

I use a program called Audacity. It's free and it's the best one i've used so far.
