I think there are many very unkind players out there who have no consideration and try to put you off by saying gg wp when there is sometimes 8 ball still on the table i think the way to prevent this sort of thing from happening is to create a feedback section after every player you play you should be able to submitt feedback such as 1 being the worst and 5 being to highest this will get a ruff estimate of how pleasent the player your playing is if anyone agrees please post i agree dont be to horriable

It would be open to abuse. If a player's behaviour is too awful, you can always complain about them: http://www.funkypool.com/help/complaint_about_other_user

Whatever you do, don't complain about anyone on the forums. There's a "no name and shame" policy in force. Failure to abide by this rule will land you in it big time

while I dont like those players myself, I dont like this feedback idea.

People who just lose their game because of their mistakes may give the other player a 1 even though they did nothing wrong.

All you can do is go by your own ethics and play the way you want to play. Sometimes I am guilty of pressing 'gg' a little early, but sometimes its there in preperation and I acidently hit enter!!

as in life there are people who do not have the grasp of manners, but that aside you cant force someone into behaving how you wish to be treated as it must come across sincere, not because there is a feedback profile on any given player and ofcourse as clooneman said it would be open to abuse and be a nightmare for mods to look after and maintain.just dont let other players get to you and remember why you are here in the first place......................
to play some pool!!!!

Choosing ignore on the pm section stops you from seeing what the user says in the chat window and pm.

This is a decent idea in theory, but will always, without exception, turn into a popularity contest and be bound to be abused.

A completely different way to go about it would be to hold back chat updates during your own shot, and displaying anything written while you were shooting AFTER you make your shot... This would probably work, at least as an option.

Sounds like a grammatical tense, like the perfect or the pluperfect.

Shouldn't be all that hard to implement really. Just a matter of caching incoming chat content while it's your turn, then empty that cache to be displayed whenever your turn/shot ends.
