It was approx 5/6 years ago I first stumbled accross this site, but at that time Funkypool didn't exist. It later took over from Poolsharks..

Anyone from here around in that era? I know a few, but names do change! (Like mine used to be Dawn_Patrol)

Hey seeing as this i up just ask a few question to you old people.

I first came to the site in the end of 2005 and therefore was not around for poolsharks.

What was the difference why did we need to change names?

Lots of threads like this popping up now for some reason, good to see the hold the site(s) have had over the years.

Wasn't around from the time of Poolsharks, I do remember...

- one tourney every three hours in UK 8 ball, each one with a differnet name (Morning Tournament, Breakfast Tournament, etc)
- one marathon tourney every week on Saturday nights
- no golf
- no US 8 ball or 9 ball
- no killer
- no editing posts (or maybe I'm wrong...?)
- no quotes
- no spoilers
- no circle encircling the crosshair while taking a shot
- no recent results page for each user

Grand and all as things were, things have certainly improved and improved since then. Great job Nick and all those who have helped run the site

I was one of them *Sighs* i'll be honest i HATED Funky when i 1st came over (STS) Was pervy (Pot and flirt room lol)and ppl arguing and blah blah, i argued back loads tho! :P

I only know a few on here that was on Poolsharks with me, the main one being Tidnab :)
