this is the only field where I can type anything normally!!

anything I type into Google, my URL bar or Yahoo Answers, it is coming up reversed!!!!!!

so if I typed in funkypool in google - it would come up as loopyknuf

and I can not backspace at all either when its reversed.

I asked a question on yahoo answers about it, it took 10 minutes to type it and it was half as long as this (its taken me a minute to do this now)

please help - what do I have to do to make it normal?? the server will not open either!!

maybe restart you PC. ive had it in a PM box with Madmiketyson before now.

i restarted and mine was fine.

Even pressing enter now, (I am on a diffent website typing backwards faster), the words go down and not the cursor.

just restarted and it works fine!!

You must have pfressed something on your keyboard by accident both of ya.....maybe spinner can solve this conundrum and give us an easier way of fixing it than a restart? Im sure you just need to press the same thing again.

The first time i accidentally hit ctrl and - I had to close my browser. F11 proved equally frustrating when accidentally tapped.

WAY back in the days when I went to school (seems SO long ago hehe), I remember we actually wrote a small virus doing the exact same prank as the problem you described in this thread

Had a fellow student type backwards with apparently no way to fix it for almost a full week before we finally let him know what caused it. It's a safe understatement to say he was rather upset

its a new day so the computer has shut down and back to normal....

but i tried to log into myspace and as i typed my password, i noticed that the flashing line stayed on the left so I said "uh oh, not agian!!"

and it happenend...

Seems like Malware to me, or something harmful to your computer. Get AVG to check it over, see if it picks anything up!

BTW - I'd rather have Malware, than a virus or spyware!
