Good point... "Opponent has left, a win is awarded after the next miss or foul". Sounds reasonable.

Does it not already happen in straight pool?
Would be good for 8 ball/9 ball though, as runouts/7 ballings may be lost.

I think Alex was replying to pool bird
"It happens in snooker doesnt it ?"
"Also on straight pool ---- ive always been for this especially if your on a runout"

Being able to carry on once your opponent left the game was the best thing Nick ever implemented on snooker. There must be a problem doing so over here other wise it would certainly be added. I'm sure he's working on it.

It would be one of the best updates that could happen other than doubles

i suppose it wouldnt be a bad idea.
even if you also had the option for once you missed, the game ends; but the balls stay where they are so you can still practice with that rack.

This has been discussed a few times, and would be a welcome addition by most people I'd presume.
Oh... Ye... Doubles, when when when?

Yes, it's possible but it would have to be disabled for tournament games.

That would be brilliant and yeah, it makes sense to disable it in tournaments

Unless if, at the deadline of a round, a player is on such a run, and the tournament is extended indefinitely until the run ends, and it can only last so long. But I can't see this being implemented for tourney games, and it's not that important for a tourney
