This pool would be 100 times better if it had one...

Some people don't like it, then just make it a option that we can use it or not.... I'd die to have a sound for my turn because I'm always playing poker when i play pool and never know when it's my turn...

You have the timer that starts to ding at under 10 seconds. If its dinging take a look at whose turn it is.

That's way too late... But it would come in handy for killer, for obvious reasons, and maybe for straight, where one player has the capability to go on a long run.

Well in my opinion, if you chose to play the game you should pay attention

I know sometimes things come up that get in the way of you taking your shot, but unless it NEEDS to be taken care of straight away, taking ten seconds on a shot wouldn't kill you

well yes, I think it would be very handy for straight and killer...

in straight, as said; people get into long runs and sometimes you have other things to do while you wait. And in killer, sometimes you just can't be botherd watching 9 others play their shots, so you do other things.

Maybe for the normal pool games, if you didnt have a "your shot alert", then maybe a single warning sound at 10 seconds, and then the 5 second warning still happens as well??

I think that would work well.

and for the time limit in the tournament finals, they are talking about a chess clock system - this would have to be implemented if a chess clock was to be implemented for finals.

I don't think it's really necessary for the normal pool games or for golf. The other games are the exception rather than the rule.

Why not just make it a option for any pool game, and have it so it can be turned on or off so everyones happy?

great idea and should be simple thing to implement as well... A simple ding would do it.

I think its a great idea a good option, i know id use it, as rogan said if you enter the game you should pay attention, but i have a habit of wandering off onto forums or what not, so id love to be able to have this...

But, i would use it if it came along.

5 seconds. I always f*#k up when that sound comes on, it encites serious panic in me. The stuff of nightmares.

True enough, most people get a bit stressed out by it. Then again, if you learn to stay calm, don't look at the shot timer but simply count the beeps, it is a great tool. Just like a "your turn" sound would be.

and all it needs to be is one 'ding' like the double ding when a game is ready to start.

so insted of ding ding; it could just be ding (for the your turn alert)

Anything would work... Couldn't believe the game didn't have one when i joined it, it was the only reason i didn't love the game lol... I still play it but it's the one thing i think it's missing

It could like say ''its your go'' or you could have like options on the different sounds you could choose for when it is your go, you could have ''ping'' and things...

Lol!
