Top 5 Qualities I Look For In Another Human Being:

1. Honesty - I'm talking the kind of truth-seeking honesty that is not afraid to talk about anything, complete openness basically trying to be as honest as possible, as often as possible.

2. Confidence - Knowing yourself, loving yourself.

3. Sense of humor - In my experience, sharing a sense of humor is the number one criterion for a good friendship. This probably should have been number one!

4. Intellectual curiosity - Questioning everything, and on a constant quest for new interesting questions, and answers.

5. Moral beauty - A strong sense of empathy, and an intuitive sense of morally right actions. A person with this quality will also be moved by seeing moral beauty in others (ex: choking up at the end of good movies!)

1. Selflessness - Doing what is right for others, not just for themselves. Showing me they care about others in general and not for their own being.

2. Conviction - I really admire someone that stands up for what they believe in, even if I don't agree with their views.

3. Intuitive - Sometimes things aren't always what they seem, and for me, it shows a lot in a person when they have the courage to follow their heart and not their head.

4. Perception - It's nice to find someone that is "in-tune" with others' wants and needs.

5. Moral beauty - I have to agree with Princess on this one. Someone that has a strong sense of right and wrong and initially follows the "right" course of moral actions.

Personally i dont 'look' for any qualities in anyone, i take people as i find them.
I have however, noticed things about some individuals and thought to myself: Ohhh thats a good trait they have :)

Yet apart from number one these are not Qualities a human being can have physicially or emotionaly....If the gave me these things i would find them very attractive...Which i hope you would agree

Well everyone seems to have gone for same things, i'd view it a slightly different way i think. I always think life is all about enjoying yourself, you don't have eternity here so enjoy yourself while you are here.

Sense of humour - never take yourself too seriously, laugh at yourself. But there is a line obviously so that goes onto...
Assertiveness - don't take crap and stand up for yourself, never keep your mouth shut if you're getting bum deal.
Loyalty - showing loyalty to friends loved one family etc will in turn see loyalty to you given back.
Optimism (but with with a strong sense of reality) - pestimism is setting up for a fail, never be tried to try things and always hope fore best. Gives you best chance of achievement.
Resiliant/Perseverance - take the rough with the smooth, keep going. Don't worry about setbacks and always move forward.

I'd also say always keep faith, but that'd be a 6th lol.

I thought of mine in terms of what i think a person needs to get through life with success and fill their potentials, i got the impression a couple people just listed what they want their friends to be.

First post i've ever really thought about seriously.
